From its origins in 1957, EWB has built a global franchise, placing more than $4bn (£2.6bn) in annual premiums in 1998. Although EW Blanch has traditionally been known as a reinsurance intermediary, it has re-aligned its operations to fully meet its customers' needs. It offers a broad range of risk management, distribution and consulting services through a single, integrated enterprise.
