We lobby FSA on unfair FSCS levies for brokers

Insurance Times is this week launching a campaign to ensure a fair deal for the broking sector when the FSA reviews its fees and levies.

Our intensive campaign has been triggered by this year’s massive hikes in FSA charges, most notably in the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) levy.

Brokers have bombarded us with letters since the bills have been landing on their doormats in recent weeks, expressing their outrage at the scale of the increases.

Broker trade body Biba and industry leaders have also backed the campaign. We will also be lobbying in parliament itself.

To help get the message across loud and clear to decision-makers, we want to hear from as many of you as possible.

Keep on sending in your stories about what the levy hike will mean for your businesses. Click here to send us your feedback or email: news@instimes.co.uk.
