ACE appoints transportation risk management head

ACE has promoted Phil Skelton to head of transportation risk management for ACE’s overseas general operations.

Skelton will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of risk management services to ACE's clients and brokers throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

In addition, he will support the marine teams in ACE's international operations outside North America, including ACE Global Markets.

Peter Seymour, executive vice president, marine for ACE Overseas General said: "We see new opportunities in markets such as the Middle East and Latin America where there is investment in power, oil and gas projects requiring specialist marine insurance and risk management capabilities.

"Phil’s appointment will help us focus on providing the widest possible access to our risk management services and support our strategy to grow our multinational business.”
