Acturis System now used by more than 300 brokers and insurers
Cloud-based software Acturis has passed the 10,000 user milestone.
Acturis reached the figure after moving Oval’s business on to the platform. Brokers including Hendersons, The Insurance Partnership and members of the Unitas Alliance have moved to the software in recent months.
More than 300 brokers and insurers now use Acturis for e-trading of personal, SME, corporate and specialist lines.
Acturis sales and marketing manager Jeff McCracken said: “The investment we have made in developing both our system and our team is delivering.”
Acturis invested more than £6.6m to develop its system last year.
“We’re looking beyond electronic trading of simple SME products to more complex lines, and exploring what we can do in the personal lines space. As a result we are seeing consistent year on year increases in the volumes of electronic trading. We will always seek to push the boundaries of what we can automate,” McCracken said.
