Insurer makes products available on system

AXA has put its core household products on the Acturis system.

The AXA household products available are ABC, ABC Lite and Extra. All products will be hosted on Acturis as Full cycle EDI.

ABC is AXA’s standard buildings and contents policy designed for the everyday homeowner, and offers a number of additional features such as Family Legal Protection and Home Assistance. ABC Lite offers the same comprehensive cover but without the additional features for those customers who do not require them. The next step up is Extra, a product which is rated per bedroom and with even more cover features, such as home business equipment, valuables up to £20k and a single article limit of £10,000.

Mike Keating, general manager of personal lines intermediary at AXA said: “Household is a key focus for us in 2009 and providing a suite of household products on Acturis ensures that these products are widely available and easily accessible to brokers in the market.”

Gyles Brooks, personal lines development manager at Acturis added: “Our relationship with AXA grows stronger with the addition of these products which targets the mass household market. Their continued work with us is a testament to the strength of the platform. “

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
