Stuart Logue will replace Helen Pickford who leaves Ageas at the end of September

Ageas has hired Stuart Logue as the new finance director for its insurance arm.

Logue joins Ageas from Canopius where he is group head of financial planning and analysis.

As a result he will replace Helen Pickford who leaves the company at the end of September after eight years as finance director.

Logue will take on the new role on 16 November.

In his new role Logue will become a member of the Ageas Insurance management committee and board.

Ageas Insurance chief executive François-Xavier Boisseau said: “Stuart is a key appointment to Ageas Insurance and, with his varied experience and leadership expertise, he is an important addition to the Board.

“Having secured a strong 2015 half year performance, including improvements on Household and a strategic focus on Commercial lines which is seeing positive results, Stuart will support our ambition to grow and to offer more product choice to more brokers.”

Commenting on his appointment Logue said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the team at Ageas Insurance.

“I personally look forward to developing my career in a key leadership role and contributing to an already successful and profitable business in a challenging and dynamic market.”
