AIG is due to release its much delayed annual results today, reports said.
The release of the US Securities and Exchange (SEC) 10-K filing could clarify uncertainties about AIG's accounts.
The publication of the report has been delayed several times this year due to the New York attorney general's investigation into the company.
AIG said it would restate earnings back to 2000 to correct accounting errors, this could wipe $2.7bn from its books.
