Mike Latham takes up new role

Alec Finch & Company has appointed former Jelf regional managing director Mike Latham as group managing director.

Prior to joining Jelf, Latham was managing director at Manson Insurance Brokers before the consolidator purchased the broker in January 2008.

In a statement, Alec Finch said the appointment tied in to plans by Verlingue, its French broking parent.

Verlingue president Jacques Verlingue said: “We are looking forward to having Mike on board to continue to drive the UK operation towards achieving our ambitious growth plans.”

 

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
