Morning workshops at branches worth 15 CPD points

Allianz Commercial is re-starting its broker breakfast club, with 55 breakfasts hosted at Allianz branches nationwide designed to inform brokers on emerging issues and risks in the industry.

Each breakfast could earn brokers 15 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

Allianz claimed it received 90% positive feedback on the content of the workshops last year.

Simon McGinn, director, Alianz’s commercial broker markets, said: "We aim to understand our customers and be responsive to their needs; our breakfast club programme confirms our commitment to providing additional benefits to our broker partners at both provincial and national level. These broker events provide a valuable opportunity to develop and add value to our trading relationships with brokers across the country."

Doreen Byrne, senior operational director of insurance broker Keeley, said: "As one of a number of value added services, Allianz broker events provide a great opportunity to increase our understanding of a range of commercial insurance issues and further strengthen our successful trading relationship."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
