Allianz Engineering to inspect handling equipment

Allianz Engineering has been selected to provide inspection services for Morrisons, the UK’s fourth largest food retailer.

Following a successful tender process, the company will now inspect all pressure, lifting and handling equipment across all 382 Morrisons stores throughout UK, including, cooking facilities and distribution depots.

Brian Davis, regional business manager, Allianz Engineering, said: “I am delighted that we have been selected as the most appropriate company to work in partnership with Morrisons. Carol Meggison, deputy branch manager, HSBC Insurance Brokers, was instrumental in placing the tender, she said: “We have an excellent working relationship with Allianz Engineering and appreciate their expertise in this area, we are extremely confident they will provide an outstanding service to Morrisons.”

Allianz Engineering currently insures Sainsbury’s and recently won the contract for insurance and inspection services for the Co-op.
