New bosses for Euler Hermes and Allianz Re named
Allianz has announced a shake-up moving Wilfried Verstraete CFO of Allianz Global & Corporate Specialty to be CEO of credit insurer Euler Hermes, taking over from Clemens von Weichs who will become CEO of Allianz Re’
Jay Ralph currently acting as CEO of Allianz Re, will concentrate on his responsibilities as Chairman of Allianz Life of North America and closely cooperate with CEO Gary Bhojwani. Jay Ralph will continue to hold board positions at Fireman’s Fund, Allianz of America, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Allianz Risk Transfer, the company said.
