Aon hires ex-HSE boss to build up its loss control team

Aon has strenghtened its loss control team with the appointment of Richard Brough as a senior health and safety consultant.

Brough, who will be based in Birmingham, will be responsible for providing Aon clients across the UK with health and safety consulting, including audits, assessments and training.

Ken White, director at Aon, said: "Accidents at work are extremely costly to employers and our team of consultants help clients implement preventative measures, create a safer environment and avoid these costs. With expertise of designing and implementing health and safety strategies and the experience of working with enforcing authorities, we're delighted to welcome Richard to the team."

Prior to joining Aon, Richard spent nine years with Scottish and Newcastle as a safety advisor, working for the Berkshire Brewery and Bulmers Cider operations.
