Chris Lee-Smith leaves Willis UK & Ireland to become operations boss of the UK retail arm of Aon Risk Solutions
Aon Risk Solutions has poached Chris Lee-Smith from Willis to head up the UK retail arm of Aon Risk Solutions.
Lee-Smith was chief operating officer of Willis UK & Ireland and before that, he was strategy director for Willis UK & Ireland.
Lee-Smith will work alongside Jim Herbert, chief executive of Aon Risk Solutions retail business in the UK, and will report to Simon Allen, chief operating officer of Aon Limited.
He will take over from Tom Tinkler following his promotion to chief executive of the Affinity business.
Herbert said: “I’m delighted to welcome Chris to Aon – his appointment will further strengthen the retail team and enable us to drive more enhancements to the service, solutions and experience we deliver to our clients.”
Lee-Smith added: “I look forward to working with Simon, Jim and the team to help grow and expand the business.”
