APC Underwritings' property owners scheme now includes brokers in Northern Ireland

Commercial insurance underwriting agency APC has extended its delegated binding authority Property Owners scheme to include brokers in Northern Ireland.

The move follows significant interest from the region and consequently APC has teamed up with two loss adjusters, Lucas Associates and OSG Loss Adjusters.

Ian Russell, APC Underwriting director, said: “As part of our philosophy of making life easier for brokers, these new relationships help us to give a much better claims service in Northern Ireland and offer our cover holders a choice of loss adjuster in the region.”

The delegated binding authority Property Owners scheme enables brokers to run their binding authorities through APC’s online broker system, QuoteMac.

Russell added: “The QuoteMac route is extremely simple as the system does all the work – issuing documents, mid term adjustments, etc., making life simple and efficient for brokers. Moreover, brokers will have the benefit of everything a binding authority gives, especially binding authority commission levels.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
