Aquilo completed the acquisition of Rubicon's motor inspection business on 27 February 2004, it announced.
The business will trade as the Aquilo engineering division of Aquilo Business Solutions, combining the acquisition with business the company had previously outsourced.
In a separate move, the company announced the sale of its IT services business Aquilo Technology with effect from 31 January 2004.
The sale was comprised of two elements, said Aquilo. Part of the business was sold to a management team headed by John Swain and will trade as Aquilo Technology, while the second element, the company, has been sold to Stuart Bayliss and will trade under the name Ecom Group Technology.
The total consideration for the disposals is expected to be approximately £280,000.
