Arista in tie-up with Hiscox

Commercial lines underwriter Arista has launched a management liability portfolio product which includes Directors and Officers, Employment Practices Liability and Corporate Legal Liability cover.

Directors and Officers will also be available in isolation as a stand alone product. Cover will be provided to Arista brokers and their commercial clients by Hiscox under a new binding agreement agreed between the two companies.

Arista’s chief executive, Charles Earle, said: “Times are tough enough for independent brokers so we are working even harder to make sure they have the ammunition they need not only to compete, but to provide their clients with the protection they need in today’s market.”

“We constantly strive to create the products that independent brokers need to offer their commercial clients. Where necessary we will work with new capacity providers to facilitate this. We have consulted with brokers and worked closely with Hiscox to develop a highly comprehensive and competitive product. Management Liability cover is increasingly in demand due to the current economic climate which traditionally leads to rises in redundancy, changes in boardroom personnel, and higher risk of liquidation.”
