Newly-formed company, Auto Solutions UK, will use AudaImage from Audatex to provide remote assessments of vehicle damage.
The two companies believe the service could dramatically cut engineers' costs by reducing the need to visit the damaged vehicles.
"We want to reduce the number of unnecessary vehicle inspections by providing an instant visual check to determine what level of repair is required," said Gerry Marsden, a director of Auto Solutions.
"With AudaImage, we have the medium that allows us to do an assessment job. And as far as we know, ours is the first UK company to offer an independent imaging assessment service with full UK coverage."
