Tie-up targets two to three partner firms
Aviva has launched a scheme to underwrite solicitors’ professional indemnity (PI) insurance for two to three partner firms through JLT Specialty.
JLT partner Mike Perry said: “Working with an experienced and trusted AA-rated insurer like Aviva means we can offer smaller firms an efficient, fair and quality service that can give them peace of mind for the long term.”
Aviva professional indemnity underwriting manager Trevor Meadowcroft said: “Aviva has a long history of expertise in the professional indemnity market and we are very pleased to be working with JLT on this scheme.”
Last renewal year Aviva wrote £8.52m of solicitors’ PI and had a 3.33% market share.
