Aviva poised for $597m deal
Aviva is to sell its joint venture in Malaysia for $597m as it continues to strengthen its capital base.
Sun LIfe and Malaysian state investor Khazanah are poised to clinch the deal.
Sun Life Financial Asia president Kevin Strain said: “We see huge opportunity (in South East Asia). There are 600 million people, the economies are growing, there is a growing middle class.”
