AXA Insurance Northern Ireland has confirmed it will be exiting the commercial non-motor and home lines of business with effect from 1 January 2003.

In a letter to brokers, operations manager Northern Ireland T V Scott said: "Our experience in these classes continues to be unsatisfactory and recent events, which impacted on reinsurance markets, have forced us to review our future approach. As a result we are no longer in a position to quote for any new risks and with effect 1 January 2003 we will not be in a position to ffer terms at renewal."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
