AXA Commercial Lines appoints Maidstone branch sales manager
AXA Commercial Lines has promoted Paul Wouldham to branch sales manager at its soon-to-launch Maidstone office.
He joined AXA Commercial in 2010 as account manager for its Reading branch and was previously an underwriter at Allianz.
AXA’s Maidstone branch will have offices in West Malling and it officially opens on 4 April, 2012. AXA has so far created seven new jobs at the branch and is set to add more.
Matthew Reed, (pictured) managing director, intermediary at AXA Commercial Lines, said: “I’m delighted to announce Paul’s promotion and appointment to sales manager of our latest new branch.
“Maidstone is a thriving region which hosts a large number of brokers and consolidators which control a significant amount of premium. The launch will be another step in our strategy to reinvigorate our branch network as we said we would.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
