Glass repair and replacement specialist to be insurer’s preferred supplier

Autoglass

AXA and subsidiary swiftcover.com has appointed vehicle glass repair and replacement specialist Autoglass as its preferred supplier.

The agreement is for four years but Autoglass didn’t disclose the cost of the deal.

Autoglass sales and marketing director André May said that the company already worked with AXA personal lines and commercial and secured the new deal after going through a tender process.

The company also partners with AXA in Europe.

May said: “This is great news for Autoglass and reflects the close relationship we have built up with AXA and Swiftcover over the last 3-5 years whilst providing a high level of service to their policyholders.

“We continue to focus on raising these high standards further in the future and are delighted to be able to serve AXA and Swiftcover and their policyholders over the next four years.

“We also work closely with AXA throughout parts of Europe.”

The company agreed new deals with insurers Aviva and ACM last year.

Autoglass has completed the process of steam-lining the business, closing its 36-staff call centre and an estimated 16 out of its 101 branches nationwide, with jobs also set to go at its head office.
