AXA is outsourcing its IT Service Desk to Dell and its service partners Getronics and Bluecurrent.
The service, which will continue to be managed by AXA Tech, will cover all PC and server support across three AXA businesses in the UK. They are AXA Insurance, AXA Life and PPP Healthcare.
A spokeswoman said that, by 17 August, all hardware would be changed to Dell products. She confirmed that 100 AXA staff would be moving to Getronics, to work on servicing the IT systems.
"IT is outsourced more and more, and outsourcing provides good service," she said.
The spokeswoman could not confirm which companies previously provided AXA IT support because of confidentiality agreements.
