Some brokers may be lamenting the departure of Biba chief Mike Williams but Backchat has learned one high profile broking figure thinks otherwise. So much so that the broker in question has written to Biba expressing concern about Williams remaining in the post to serve out his notice.
The broker argues that now Williams has revealed his hand regarding his future commercial venture, brokers can no longer be confident that he is acting in their best interests. The result? A not-so-private fallout between two of the industry's leading figures.
