The Retirement Insurance Advisory Service (RIAS) has produced a low cost motor policy for older motorists.
Up to £50,000 worth of legal expenses cover can be added to the policy for £12.50, compared to the market rate of £40.
There is no upper age limit to the policy, which is intended for people aged 50 or over.
Cover is offered to disabled drivers who hold a full licence. Company car drivers can also transfer any no claims bonus they have built up.
The policy also includes up to £5,000 of personal accident cover. Existing policyholders have an automatic right to renew.
