Non-executive director has spent 35 years with KPMG
Chartered accountant Richard Bennison has been appointed as a non-executive director to the boards of specialist insurance and reinsurance firms the Kiln Group and RJ Kiln and Co.
Bennison, a financial services specialist with a 35-year track record at auditor and professional services company KPMG, will chair the audit, risk and compliance committee of RJ Kiln and Co.
His most recent posts were chief operating officer of KPMG Europe LLP and ghief executive officer of KPMG in the UK. The appointment comes after Paul Wilson stepped down from the board after seven years to become chairman of XL London Market.
Kiln Group chief executive Charles Franks said: “Richard’s impressive credentials, strong reputation and expertise in the financial services sector, and insurance in particular, will be an enormous benefit to both the executive team and Kiln as a whole.
