Zurich has launched a Property Damage and Business Interruption policy for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
Customers and brokers had criticised standard cover, which only includes the costs of reworking projects. With Zurich, customers can spend the claim payment on an alternative project.
Cover includes research and development expenditure, research revenue, royalties and licence and option fees, noxious odours or fumes and business interruption following a casualty incident.
