Health insurer appointed non-executive directors to review its corporate governance.
Birmingham’s nationwide health insurer BHSF has appointed to new non-executive directors following a review of its corporate governance.
The move follows the retirement of a number of long-serving non-executives from the board of BHSF Group.
The appoints are: David Oxtoby, an academic, teaching corporate governance and strategic management at post-graduate and professional levels at a number of universities and business schools, including Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Durham and Bill Begg, who is joining the boards of BHSF’s four operating companies. Begg had a long and successful career in the automotive industry between 1974 and 2004 including senior positions with Land Rover, Rover International Markets, BMW Group and Jaguar, in Solihull, Rome, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Dubai and China.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
