App gives brokers access to ACE Online web-based trading platform
ACE has launched an iPad app for its ACE Online trading platform for brokers.
The platform allows brokers to quote and bind new business on behalf of their clients.
The first product available on the app is directors’ and officers’ liability (D&O). Using the app, brokers will be able to access ACE’s Elite SME Plus D&O policy wording.
ACE said the app’s product suite will be expanded.
Brokers placing business using ACE Online or the app will receive support from ACE’s underwriters and claims team, who will help with quotes and technical questions.
ACE Online UK and Ireland manager Diane Davidson said: “Since its launch in 2008, ACE Online has enabled brokers to quote and bind a wide range of covers online within minutes.
“The new sleekly designed, hassle-free ACE Online app allows brokers to do just that on the go from their iPads, wherever they are conducting business from, with the confidence that their clients will enjoy one of the broadest D&O covers on the market.”
