RSA's Aaron Devitt has a Biba curfew...

Aaron Devitt, director, sales & strategic relationships at RSA:

Biba has come round again very quickly this year. With only a few days to go, our commercial exec team is dusting off their business cards, the marketing team is putting the last minute touches to the stand and our press office is briefing everyone to 'behave' around the media. My wife has even given me a curfew for the Thursday night already.

Everyone has a role to play at Biba and all the hard work and time that goes into preparing was demonstrated last year. Not only did we win best stand, but we launched our new brand RSA to the market along with our new trading units and all were really well received.

Biba is without a doubt the industry event of the year. It is the opportunity to make new contacts, meet up with old ones and remind the market why you are a key player and the best at what you do.

This year, we may not have Paul Donaldson in attendance throughout (although there are rumours he will make an appearance on Thursday afternoon), but we do still have a lot to share. Our new commercial structure of SME, mid market and global businesses led by Ken Norgrove, Mike Lawton and Paul Greensmith respectively will be out in force along with many of our dedicated account directors. A key focus for us this year will be to meet with as many brokers as we can to hear what they have to say about RSA.

What is more, our energy management experts Alex Matthias, Paul Pritchard and Chris Hurst are presenting one of the seminars on Thursday, so I hope that many people will make the time to attend.

The BIBA conference is always a great event and I look forward to seeing everyone at our stand. If you manage to pop by as Thursday draws to a close, mine's a Peroni. Cheers!
