Former Travelers marketing leader gets new role

Peter Elliott has joined Bluefin Insurance Services as head of marketing with immediate effect.

He joins Bluefin from Rushton International, the asset valuation business, where he was marketing director. Prior to his current role, Elliott led the Travelers’ Insurance Marketing team with responsibility for marketing, brand and PR across the UK, and developed joint marketing initiatives directly with brokers.

At Bluefin he will be responsible for delivering a cohesive, co-ordinated, results-driven marketing capability.

Dave Ball, Bluefin markets director, said: “Peter’s experience will undoubtedly help strengthen Bluefin’s overall proposition going forward. His appointment marks another exciting phase in building Bluefin’s brand awareness and service capabilities.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
