BMS Group has made two appointments for its Pioneer Underwriting and JH Intermediaries managing general agent arms.
John Andrews, previously at Glencairn, has joined as business development director. Andrews will report to Pioneer managing director Darren Doherty.
Jade Bolton has joined as business development assistant.
Doherty said: “BMS Group has made no secret of its ambition to grow the business, with underwriting being a core component of this growth. Both John and Jade will strengthen our offering and I welcome them to the team.”
BMS launched Pioneer Underwriting in April 2011 to underwrite a portfolio with an initial premium capacity of £62.5m.
