John Stratton joins insurer from IAG
Lloyd’s insurer Brit has appointed John Stratton to the newly created role of chief investment officer.
He will report directly to group chief executive Mark Cloutier.
Stratton was previously chief investment officer and head of asset management at Insurance Australia Group (IAG). Before joining IAG in 2003, Stratton held positions in asset management at AXA Australia and Merrill Lynch Mercury Asset Management.
“I very much look forward to welcoming John to the team,” Cloutier said in a statement. “He brings with him an enormous amount of experience and expertise, and will be a great addition to Brit as we build this business for the future.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
