Ray Johnston, a broker, will be pounding the streets of London this year to help raise money for the blind.
The owner of Independent Insurance Services in Folkestone is going to take part in the London Marathon.
He has already raised £1,000 in sponsorship but is seeking to double the total before the big race. All proceeds will be donated to the Kent Association of the Blind. Axa has already made a donation.
