The first wave of Zurich brokers to earn an insurance management degree celebrated their success this week.
Fifteen Zurich brokers graduated from the University of Central England with a BA in insurance management.
Their success follows Zurich Commercial's decision to sponsor places on the course for brokers holding an ACII qualification. The course developed brokers' skills in strategic marketing, risk management and financial management.
David Smith, head of business operations for Zurich's UK commercial business said: "Brokers are not just business partners to us. They are an integral part of our business. That is why we have invested in these people as we would our own."
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
