HW Kaufman Group has announced that is it consolidating its brands outside of North America into Burns and Wilcox, as well as RB Jones.
The Burns and Wilcox brand will include all broking businesses, while RB Jones will feature the company’s underwriting units.
“By leveraging the power of our brokerage, distribution, underwriting and risk-bearing business units, HW Kaufman is well positioned to elevate our organisation even further through a more unified and highly competitive global organisation,” said Jodie Kaufman Davis, co-president.
“The rebranding is another important step forward in the evolution of our international operations – one that is specifically designed to drive scale around the world.”
Moves
In London, HW Kaufman will launch Burns and Wilcox Global Solutions, a new business unit that through 2025, will include a non-marine group, formerly known as Chesterfield Insurance Brokers.

It will also have a marine group that will operate as Lochain Patrick, a division of Burns and Wilcox Global Solutions.
Meanwhile, Burns and Wilcox UK, HW Kaufman’s underwriting business, will be rebranded to RB Jones UK, which will formally establish RB Jones outside of North America for the first time.
HW Kaufman is also moving its offices for the brands to The Gherkin, placing teams adjacent to Lloyd’s of London, as well as its key trading partners.
Meanwhile, HW Kaufman’s existing business in the UAE will operate as Burns and Wilcox Mena. In Amsterdam, the company will become Burns and Wilcox Global Solutions Europe.
And Node International, HW Kaufman’s specialist digital and cyber MGA, will trade as RB Jones Digital.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
