Personal lines lead transfer specialist Call Connection has trebled its turnover from £2.5m to £7.5m in the past year by buying calls from insurers and brokers and selling them for a profit.
The Ipswich company buys calls from over 50 insurers and brokers, including Admiral, Kwik-Fit, Royal & SunAlliance and Swinton, for between £3 and £5 each. It sells them on for between £5 and £8.
Managing director Graeme Kalbraier said: "We are the only company dedicated to transferring calls within the insurance field. If a broker receives an inquiry and can't help that customer, we give him the opportunity to make some revenue from the call by transferring it to us."
