The UK's third largest mortgage lender Cheltenham & Gloucester is to make its mortgage and insurance products available on digital TV.
Managing director Roger Burden said: "C&G's pages on the Digital TV site will initially focus on mortgages but we have plans to expand the site to include our insurance and investment products later in the year."
C&G products will be available on Telewest's interactive TV service.
By plugging a set-top box into a television, viewers can access details of companies, products and services, make purchases and find out information in much the same way as they can on the internet or teletext.
