Chaucer Holdings has increased the capacity of its syndicates by almost £32m for 2001.

The group's wholly-owned corporate member ALIT No.1 has increased its capacity by £29m and Chaucer Dedicated Limited, in which Chaucer has almost 47% economic interest, has increased its capacity by £2.6m.

Individual Chaucer syndicates have had the following increases: 19% for syndicate 587, 2.5% for 1084, 10% for 1096. This equals a total 2001 capacity of £256m.

Zurich Re has an interest of £15m and Labuan Re £6m in 587. Labuan also has £4m on 1084 and £10m on 1096.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
