Cass-Stephens buys Malvern broker Paxman

Gloucester based Cass-Stephens Insurances has acquired D Paxman (Insurances) a privately-owned commercial insurance broking business based in Malvern.

Cass-Stephens said the Paxman deal is its seventh acquisition in the last 15 years.

Established in 1963 Paxman is a commercial insurance broker specialising in commercial property, motor trade and fleet lines servicing SME clients throughout Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

Cass-Stephens employs 27 staff and offers of commercial and personal insurance and independent financial advice to clients throughout the UK. Key commercial lines include commercial property, care homes under its “Insurewithcare” brand and intellectual property as well as park homes, holiday lodges and static caravans under the leading Parksure brand.

Managing director James Cass said: “Chris Paxman has an excellent reputation and managed a strong business for many years with loyal clients. The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
