Backchat has been asked to rally the industry around the good works of the Insurance Charities. It focuses on helping those former colleagues in our industry who, through no fault of their own, need financial help.
Each year the charity gives out help in excess of £1m, but in recent years, even with substantial corporate donations, demand has exceeded the amounts raised. Donations from employees average less than £1 per head.
