Former Direct Line and Tesco Compare head arrives at Chaucer
Chaucer Insurance has appointed Paul Baxter as head of direct in its UK motor business.
Baxter joined earlier this month from Renaissance Insurance in Russia, where he was vice president for motor insurance.
He has previously been head of motor for Direct Line, commercial director at Tesco Compare and head of insurance for Tesco Personal Finance.
Kim Barber, Chaucer’s practice head - UK insurance, said: “Paul’s appointment further enhances our motor capabilities and demonstrates our continued dedication to providing excellent client service within the market.
“He brings with him a great deal of experience and an established reputation which will be invaluable as we look to build our business.”
Baxter added: “I’m very much looking forward to working with the Chaucer team as we look to enhance our customer offering and selectively take advantage of the opportunities that exist in this market.”
