Former AIG underwriting manager to drive continental distribution expansion

Chubb Insurance has strengthened its Accident and Health team with the appointment of Fabrice Gottfrois as Continental European Practice Leader for Accident and Health.

Fabrice started his new role on the 27th August 2007. He joins Chubb from AIG where he worked for 27 years in various European roles culminating in the role of Deputy Regional Underwriting Manager for Continental Europe.

Fabrice will be based in Chubb’s Paris office and report to the European Manager for Chubb Accident and Health. He will provide expert support in driving forward the expansion of distribution, products and geographical footprint in Continental Europe for Chubb Accident and Health.

Paul Chapman, Head of Personal Lines and Accident & Health for Chubb Europe, said: “The appointment of Fabrice to the Accident and Health team heralds a new and exciting stage for the development of the department. Fabrice brings with him a wealth of experience and I look forward to working with him to expand Accident and Health in Continental Europe.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
