Ashworth Mairs Group has become the first loss adjuster to receive CII continuing professional development accreditation, ahead of next week's CII conference in Birmingham.
It won the accreditation for its in-house training facility.
The CII has also asked Ashworth Mairs to work in collaboration on its newly-formed faculty of claims, aimed at raising standards and levels of professionalism across the claims community.
CII director general Sandy Scott said: "Ashworth Mairs sets the lead in loss adjusting that I hope other organisations will follow."
