Heather Thomas and Ron Forrest appointed non-exec directors
CNA Europe has appointed Heather Thomas and Ron Forrest as non-executive directors.
Thomas is heralded as one of the most experienced lawyers in the London insurance market, with a particular focus on regulatory issues such as Solvency II.
Prior to starting her own firm, she was general counsel and company secretary at Wellington Underwriting and the company’s main liaison with Lloyd’s and the FSA.
Forrest is chairman of broker Perkins Slade, a post he has held since 2003. Prior to joining Perkins Slade he held a number of senior positions at Aon
