CNA in double hire

CNA Europe has made two appointments to its european technology practice.

Matt Sumpter joins the team as senior development underwriter and Simon Calderbank joins as technology underwriter.

Both will report to european underwriting director of technology Jacob Ingerslev.

Sumpter joins CNA Europe from Travelers Insurance Company where he was senior development executive.

Calderbank joins from Hiscox where he held responsibility for renewal books in both the London and Glasgow offices.

CNA Europe chief executive John Hennessy said: “We see a huge opportunity to strengthen our technology offering throughout Europe.

"Matt and Simon’s expertise in this arena will be of huge value to Jacob and his team as we continue to roll out a superior, local service to brokers in all of our European territories.”
