Co-op makes new telematics hire

The Co-operative Insurance has hired Amy Kilmartin as product manager to help develop its telematics scheme for young drivers.

She has joined from Asda’s financial services arm, where she was product manager.

Kilmartin said: “This will be an exciting, challenging role with the opportunity to shape a product that is part of a car insurance revolution.

“Young Driver was the first product of its kind when it entered the market, and my aim is to keep it fresh and innovative so that it continues to appeal to young motorists and their parents.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
