Commercial trading to be a hot topic at clinics

The Countrywide network is to hold a Broker Clinic to outline, amongst other subjects, its new electronic commercial trading offering.

The Broker Clinic is taking place next Thursday, November 8, at Fortis’ Headquarters in Eastleigh, near Southampton.

The day’s programme is free-of-charge for members and will include an insight into Countrywide’s strategy for 2008, and an introduction to its new exclusive electronic trading platform for commercial insurance.

There will be a presentation by Fortis on commercial insurance, whilst a consultant from Insurance Compliance Services will be covering senior management responsibilities with its Approved Persons Lifebelt.

Bernie Leech, insurance services co-ordinator at Countrywide, said: “Clinics add significant value to the Countrywide offering because they allow brokers to discuss topical issues with other members, as well as Countrywide and insurer representatives. This clinic will be of particular interest as it will highlight the significance of electronic commercial trading – a hot topic in the industry right now.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
