Insurers Mead has launched a comprehensive personal accident insurance.
Any sporting or leisure activity can be covered under the policy.
The cover starts from £14 per annum and includes death or disablement, loss of eyes, limbs, hearing or speech. Medical expenses such as hospitalisation and dental, optical and physiotherapy costs are also covered.
If an injury results in an insured person bring temporarily unable to work, then loss of income is covered under temporary total disablement benefit.
Discounts are provided for teams, clubs or associations.
