It's all getting very kinky at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC).
Speaking at last week's contract certainty question panel at the CII Insurance Hall run by Global Reinsurance magazine, RPC partner Patrick Devine declared there is "no point whipping staff until morale improves".
His colleague at the law firm, Rupert Boswall picked up on the theme, enthusing about the market being "whipped into shape".
No doubt the FSA is looking on with great amusement as the insurance market looks to light flagellation to address the contract certainty problem.
